Full Service Accounting Company in Michigan A Little History on Griffin Accounting Griffin Accounting got its beginning back in 1997 when Terry Griffin started preparing tax returns at home for additional side income. As the referrals and requests for return preparation grew so did the business. In 2007 he began working full time from a home office , building the business as a full service accounting company, adding payroll, bookkeeping and tax planning to the mix. A second office was opened in downtown Port Huron in 2010 when Terry passed the IRS’ Enrolled Agents exam and became able to add IRS representation to the list of services provided. 2012 brought additional growth when the tax preparation business of Webb Financial Services in Wadhams was acquired by Griffin Accounting and the company grew to serve over 2,300 clients.
